Comparison chart of features for all Sony Bravia HDTV Series What size TV should I get? Learn More Full HD 1080p Full HD 1080p means our connections accept 1080p signals and the display will render that signal in Full HD 1080p. The flexibility of native 1920 x 1080 displays allows any high definition content to be viewed without the need to downconvert images to the native resolution of the display. Take full advantage of Blu-ray Disc players and PlayStation 3 systems that can deliver 1080p content. (Found in S, V, W, Z, and XBR Series HDTVs) Go back to list of all features. Digital Media Extender (DMex) Sony's Digital Media Extender (DMex) offers a digital connection path for optional modules like the BRAVIA Internet Video Link, as well as other modules you can add in the future. Innovative DMex expansion capabilities integrate into the award-winning XMB user interface making HDTVs a powerful entertainment platform that not only meets current needs, but expands to meet tomorrow’s needs as well. Go back to list of all features. BRAVIA Engine Technology The latest version of Sony’s respected BRAVIA Engine fully digital video processor uses a collection of unique SONY algorithms to significantly reduce noise and produce sharp, vibrant, life-like images. Dynamic Noise Reduction: Intelligently identifies and dramatically reduces noise in the signal according to the motion and brightness of each scene for clearer, crisper images. Detail Enhancement: Improved image enhancement algorithms render greater overall detail. Contrast Enhancement: Works with the Advanced Contrast Enhancer circuit to optimize the contrast for every scene to create better depth and reality. BRAVIA Engine technology optimizes the color, contrast, detail and clarity of every scene for the exceptional performance that BRAVIA HDTVs are known for. Go back to list of all features. Advanced Contrast Enhancer (ACE) Part of the cinematic drama in film-making comes from details found in shadows and dark areas of the picture. Sony’s Advanced Contrast Enhancer (ACE)n uses real-time image processing to dynamically adjust backlight levels for improved contrast without masking details the filmmaker intended you to see. ACE delivers deep blacks in darker scenes, as well as fine details in shadows and other dark areas of the picture for a difference you can truly see. Go back to list of all features. 24p True Cinema Movies and many prime time TV programs are shot at 24 frames per second. This means that TVs operating at any refresh rate that is not an even multiple of 24 will have to do some interpolation to present the content. TVs operating at at 30Hz or 60Hz traditionally solved this via a method called "2:3 pulldown". The television repeats the first film frame over the first two fields of video, and the second film frame over the next three fields of video (1, 1, 2, 2, 2), and continues to do this with the 3rd and 4th frames, the 5th and 6th framer (1,1,2,2,2 - 3,3,4,4,4 - 5,5,6,6,6), and so on until 24 frames are displayed over 60 refresh cycles. This discrepancy in the number of times frames are displayed can lead to a jerky motion in filmed material which some viewers notice for example, especially with scenes that pan. 120, on the other hand, is an even multiple of 24. Ttelevisions with 24p capability, operating at 120Hz, can display an equal number of frames for every refresh cycle. The benefit— You can watch movies in natural, cinematic motion, the way they are seen at the cinema. Every single frame of the movie can now be seen without using additional video processing that converts film-based images to video reproduction. Additionally, 24p True Cinema input capability can be used along with Motionflow™ 120Hz technology for outstanding fluid motion beyond what you would typically see at the cinema. Once you experience 24p video it will be hard to view video without it. (Found in S, V, W, Z, and XBR Series HDTVs). Sony's Blu-ray disc players wisely take advantage of this by including 24p output capability. Go back to list of all features. Rich Graphic On-Screen Control Interface Delivering a fun user experience is what the new rich graphics are designed to do. Accessing video content and sharing digital photos with your family and friends on an HDTV is now fast, easy and fun. Colorful thumbnails cascade before your eyes allowing you to visually choose what you want to see. Viewing digital images through Sony’s photo viewer is now more organized and can be quickly accessed. Go back to list of all features. TV Guide On-Screen Interactive Program Guide The TV Guide On-screen IPG delivers continually updated program listings to users. The guide requires no subscription fees or phone connection and is available at no extra cost to the consumer. Sony is the first company to integrate the TV Guide On-Screen User Interface into a custom interface — Sony’s exclusive Xross Media Bar user interface. (Found in all V, W, Z, and XBR Series HDTVs) Go back to list of all features. Connectivity In 2007 Sony included HDMI CEC capability in select HDTV and BRAVIA Theatre Home Audio products, which led to a one-touch function Sony feature called BRAVIA Theatre Sync This feature allows the access and control multiple tasks and system operations with one button ease. BRAVIA Sync is now being introduced as the name for a new family of control features that not only includes BRAVIA Theatre Sync, but will now include BRAVIA Sync. This feature allows the user to control a CEC-enabled camcorder connected to a BRAVIA HDTV via an HDMI cable by using the HDTV’s remote control and an on-screen display that shows camcorder transport functions. Optimized Theater Mode Developed in consultation with the Sony Pictures Entertainment movie studio, most 2008 Sony BRAVIA LCD HDTVs feature our optimized Theater Mode. Selecting the THEATER mode on the BRAVIA HDTV remote automatically adjusts a number of key elements that have an important impact on reproducing movies better. Skin tones and lighting are seen as natural without over-enhancing color and contrast. The picture is fine-tuned for a dark viewing environment just like the cinema and optimized for LCD display technology. Even the right amount of film grain is included. All of this helps preserve the mood and detail so you enjoy the cinema experience that you go to the theater to see, right in the comfort of your home. Optimized Theater Mode is another great example of Sony HDNA in action. We not only create the exciting movies that you see at the cinema but also enhance the home viewing experience to recreate it as only Sony can. (Found on most Sony BRAVIA LCD HDTVs.) Note: Optimized "Theater Mode" was developed in consultation Columbia Pictures, a Sony Pictures Entertainment company. Go back to list of all features. Audio Features S-Force Front Surround Built around a sophisticated set of Sony algorithms, the S-Force Front Surround enhancement function generates realistic surround sound from the two speakers in the TV. Unlike some other "virtual surround" technologies, S-Force Front Surround sound does not need to be bounced off of side walls or other surfaces to hear three-dimensional sound. No matter what the size or shape of the room it's possible to hear sounds from behind you. SRS TruSurround XT TruSurround is a patented SRS technology that solves the problem of playing 5.1 multichannel content over two speakers. TruSurround delivers a compelling, virtual surround sound experience through any two-speaker playback system, including internal television speakers and headphones. It is fully compatible with all multichannel formats up to 5.1 channels. High-quality virtual surround sound can be experienced with just the two hidden, downward-firing side-mounted 2.2-channel dome speakers built into the TV. SRS TruSurround XT technology delivers an amazing, simulated 3D effect with clear dialog and powerful bass. TruSurround XT audio also adds three audio enhancement technologies to produce an amazingly immersive sound experience. Dialog Clarity brings movie dialog into Focus during the playback of any surround-encoded material to make speech much clearer and crisper. TruBass creates incredible deep rich bass allowing a person to perceive significantly deeper, richer low bass tones that are far beyond the physical low frequency capabilities of the speaker itself. The SRS WOW feature widens the soundstage by processing standard two-channel stereo material as well as multi-channel encoded material for a dramatic improvement in the playback of any stereo audio over a two-speaker system. Stereo broadcast reception is offered for MTS and SAP with 181-channel capacity. A sound leveler keeps audio volume consistent during channel changing. Go back to list of all features. Which Size HDTV is Right for My Room? With standard-definition TVs, the rule used to be that viewers would feel comfortable watching a set from a distance of 3 to 6 times the screen size in inches. With HDTV, the resolution is so much better that you can sit closer to a larger TV without noticing the pixels. So with HDTVs, the rule tends to be you can sit anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the screen size (in inches) for the best experience. If you know the size of the room you have already, where you want to sit, and where your new HDTV should go once you get it, you can figure out the size HDTV you should get. The best feedback from customers 127 of 132 people found the following review helpful. Sony reliability now at a price of Samsung. Samuel Chell I have a Sony V series 40 "LCD that immediately prior to this model, based on my experiences with the previous model, I have recommended the KDL 40V4100 to friends and family disputes: ... one of the first 40V4000 Once out, sold as much as twice the price of it, the previous model 2 10 - bit color processing (currently only available in the more expensive Z-series or later) Although rabies is now 120Hz .. (available from W-series), Sony's unique 24 fps Movie mode is probably true that the most noticeable difference in the "smooth out" motion of the camera the ability to 120Hz (which is basically a come-on players and the generation of "Matrix"). For less than $ 1500, this is everything I would unhesitatingly choose the first of a comparable Samsung (you can get the price down to around $ 1000 if you go with the S series, but you will sacrifice the Sony Bravia hailed processor 2 and Sony self-link feature that allows operation of all components with a single switch) If I was willing to spend around $ 2000 or more, I would like to see a 46 "-52" Sony 120 Hz (only to be present) and 10-bit color processing of a hi-def picture, which simply leaves nothing to be desired. I will also do everything we can to buy from Amazon. (I had to do to complete the first two exchanges with the model "right" and Amazon is usually done without any problems Transactions.) Also, be sure to check the Amazon store for a "restructuring" or model "Scratch and Dent ". I've never been disappointed in any of these items at reduced prices, or even notice any difference of mint. A couple of things learned through experience: 1 A flat-screen set to "play" is not as big as the old tube models, if you need an earlier 27 "convection tube screen, you have 32" -40 enjoys "a similar experience with an LCD panel 2. Once HDTV broadcasts (still only a small percentage of the channels), it is very likely that something you notice any difference from standard definition, if the screen is smaller than 40 ". So if you want to do when buying a 36 "or smaller screen, you can skip the extras. 720p is more than adequate, and most of the other bells and whistles can be seen as an unnecessary extra cost. Even SD (standard definition) will look better on a small screen than on the manufacturer's most expensive big screen, ask the price - not brand - the most important criterion when selecting a screen under 40 ". 58 of 58 people found the following review helpful. Great TV, Superb Picture (except the static dot sparkles see text), Good Value for the EP in TX got my 40V4100 a month. Originally wanted the "W" with 120 Hz, but this "V" was sold locally as the difference of $ 600, I do not regret buying this set of 60 Hz, and save hundreds of dollars. Overall, it is excellent after adjusting the picture settings to my liking. The audio quality of the built-in speakers is surprisingly good with the dynamic mode and a few more ups and downs. I have a little problem that seems to be common to this new line of Sony LCD TV - blinking white dots that appear randomly on the image in a straight line, just a bit 'at a time, about 4 "below the top of the image HDMI only mode. more visible in dark scenes or black. I have almost all negotiations for another, until I saw the same white dots on 40V4100 purchase them read a Blu-Ray. Until now, that Sony does not seem to recognize the problem. I hope that Sony will pay attention to what your customers are telling them and reach a solution to this as soon as possible as it can be very noticeable in upcsaled HDMI DVD or Blu-Ray Sources If it were not for that I give a 5. Edit and update! September 14, 2008 - I am happy to report that Sony came through and headed for the bright white point problem with an easy.

I looked around a couple of glasses compatible 3D Amazon and found this pair. There was no announcement and no marks on them, but for $ 60, I decided to dare to take the plunge. My glasses came in a white box that says simply: "active 3D glasses for TV." They have no brand, only a small sticker, "pass QC", probably says a product of China. Anywho, I submitted to the glasses with the included USB cable for charging, since these glasses are rechargeable! They regularly pay $ 100 + Sony official for the same glasses. If they were loaded, I turned on the PS3 and GT5 .... used and OMG! Graphics burst. 3D details were perfect and I've never had an eye fatigue or dizziness during the 2 hours + I've played. I still have to test them with movies, but if the PS3 games are an indication, I would say the glass is right on par with the official Sony branded products ... Oh, and did I mention they are rechargeable? I've only had it for one week so far, but if I do something wrong with them, I will update my review. 3 of 3 people found this review helpful. It works by Stone Cold All I can say is that they work. Make sure your TV to the 3D view and zoom to normal television. The glasses were my internal wireless sensor Sony BRAVIA TV automatically acquired in May 2011. My TV requires 3D setting should be "together" image. Be prepared for all settings on the TV to get it right, initially I thought it was the glasses. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Very good for 1122 These glasses are great for the cost of half the cost of a Sony, is not as clear as the Sony factory, and you have to be directly in front of your TV and not in the side view ING is about 30deg from side to side . One advantage is that they have lots forever (seams) and is convenient to use (none of the 3-D glasses and good programs for more than a movie) in my opinion. So I would give the glasses up to 7.5 to 8, 10, 10 is best. See all 3 reviews ....

I do not know if this adapter allows the video quality is so good, or a combination of things (Internet Service Provider, router, etc). But this adapter does its job properly secure. On the other hand, it is not like you have a choice - a Sony "Internet ready" blu-ray player, an "Internet-enabled" player, you need this adapter. This is the only compatible brand / model. And it's pretty expensive, too. Shame on Sony for that - had I known this, I'd be the next model comes with built-in wireless capacity bought. But to concentrate in the interface itself, it is a very good product. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. Do what it should do. Bob, I bought it used with my Sony Blu-ray players are and it does a good job in connection with the wireless. No problems here 3 of 3 people found this review helpful. Worked very well Michael A. Bynack UWA BR100 wireless adapter I bought to go with a Sony BluRay player. I tried two other wireless adapters with BluRay, but we discovered that this particular type and model to get it to work. The adapter works exactly as intended. As soon as I connected and began BluRay came to the Configuration page and allowed me to enter codes for my home WiFi. The reception on the drive is very good and it loads faster than Netflix on our Wii. I am a little disappointed in Sony for having a separate component to connect to the wireless network to buy. Let me start by saying that all ears are different and it sounds great to me, may sound different to another person. I'm not bragging, but said that my ears are very sensitive and can detect many quality sounds that others can not. I think this may be true, as several radio stations kept me melody processing in the air, and my ears have felt good sound Keene. In any case, I have Sony EX90LP headphones I always thought it was very good for the price. Very loud sound pressure at the end of good quality, good amount of base, and a great price. Obviously, not studio headphones, but I-Pods, Walkman is not bad. I decided to try MDR-EX-300/BLK and I must say, at least to my ears, a big difference, especially at the lower end. The bass is more pronounced with more depth, the upper part, however, is almost too high. I had my EQ settings to reduce EX90LP headphones, because the upper portion was saturated, which can lead to getting a headache. Not as big of a deal if you do small high-end adjustment. Overall these headphones I was 10, based on the quality and price of $ 49.95 I have them. Compared to everything else out there, especially at this price, they win hands down. Sony sells them for $ 79.95 on their site, so I think that even compared to other headphones to $ 100, I would say this is better. I also have a pair of Bose earphones phones that sell for $ 99, and Bose phones did not even come close. Low volume, muddy sound, almost no bass and no high end. As I said earlier, you must decide, but for that price, I would at least give them a try. I think you very happy. 19 of 20 people found this review helpful. Excellent! Love 'em! By Jeff Kraus I have more than maybe $ 35 or less on headphones before, but when the headphones from my iPod bit the dust, I decided to see what was there. These headphones are great. The sound quality is easily the best I have ever heard of any in-ear headphones I've ever had. Bass is loud and clear, and the top is not as tinny or distorted in some lower-end headphones. Even with the high volume, brightness is great. They come with three sizes of silicone rubber ear, a "cable regulator" that change the effective length of the cable to your changing needs, and a case of nylon / velcro like wearing an insert that makes it possible to neatly tie in the cables. The description says it's a leather bag, but there are only a small fraction of which is made of leather, a range of less than 2 square inches in size that the Sony logo on it. Sounds good, but has no useful value other than aesthetics. The vast majority of cases are nylon, but that's okay with me, still very nice. The headphones are crucial to the quality of sound. The first time you put in, I guess it must have been in atrial size was too small, because the base was horrible and the sound was distant and unsatisfactory. As soon as I put the headphones on the largest, if a good seal, and the sound was so great that it almost fell. So make sure you take the time to get the right fit and proper position before deciding on how you like it. The overall size is good, too. Although they look bigger than the standard Apple headphones that come with the iPod, can I put my helmet on during all these without any problems, while Apple headphones always come out a bit. And noise reduction is very good too. Properly, reduce the noise of the motorcycle at high speed with a thud. For comparison, my Apple headphones on the way to be around 85-90% volume to hear the music fairly well

And the wind blows it away in almost every aspect I think I paid about $ 550 for the Samsung over a year ago, so I jumped at the chance to upgrade to EX400 Professionals. The light sensor works fine - 4 HDMI inputs disconnect my friends - Bravia Sync feature works great with my Sony home theater system - PS3 games have never looked so good I played Killzone 2 right after I TV and my jaw was .!... open for about 10 minutes at a time. - It has only a 60 Hz refresh rate, but I did not see blurring when watching sports -. DVDs look pretty sharp, saw I have a cheap DVD up-converter -. It's a Sony, I'm sure some ppl have had bad experiences with Sony, but I'm just lucky to each his own I guess Cons: The remote is rubbish ...! It looks cheap and not very functional - gray on the front panel. I had a big problem with the image on-line everything I do in person. It does not seem so bad - but always throws out of the black perimeter continues. Strange call from Sony. - Calibration is frustrating. There are so many different picture settings, you probably struggle to find the ideal configuration. I used the DVD THX Optimizer (which is located on one of my Star Wars movies) and it helped a lot. (I posted on [...]) - If you use an antenna instead of cable / satellite, you will find that zapping is a bit 'slow. It's a little 'picky, but the channels take a little' more time to load on this set. - No adjustable? I knew that this group had not before I bought it - but it would be nice though. The picture is bright, too. Easy to install. It has a default setting for the house (and not stored), which was fine by us. $ 599 for 40 "1080p. Originally I wanted to go with two other TVs before, until a man who works there, was known as Peter pointed me to this TV. As soon as I saw her, and so the picture quality compared to the Sharp Aquos and other TVs of the same size and specifications, I knew it was the TV for me most of the other TV looked washed out compared to this stuff, so it was not to deny. Anyway, I finally have the thing home, and finally put it up on a wall mounted, I got out of here for cheap, and it was a fantastic TV. Much, much more than my old standard-def TV, which was afterwards to a friend BTW improved. Picture quality is fantastic, the colors are rich and vibrant, no motion blur, no slowdown, no lag, none of the problems that seem obvious to most TVs with 60Hz specs plague. Even standard def cable looks great on this beast, and it's something pretty hot. I do not think you will be disappointed with this as a sports game on TV at all if you primarily use it for this. But the real star of the show gaming. Especially with HDMI cables, which is a necessity, fortunately, you can get for cheap nowadays crazy as another reviewer said, the games have never been better. As he, I sat there for at least 5 to 10 minutes of drooling.

This TV came right out in February, and is a no frills Sony Bravia. No LED backlight, no swivel, no internet apps, etc. Just one solid LCD TV with a big picture. I like it, like my two Panasonic plasma with the exception of the viewing angle. They are not bad, just not as good as plasma. The picture is great right out of the box. Nice and natural. Believe it or not, I could not really improve the picture quality, no matter how much I played with him. Ultimately, I lowered the saturation a couple of notches and changed the tone on a warm and that was it. I did not notice any motion blur, even if only at 60Hz. It is such a solid set that in this case I am reminded of the old adage, less is more really applies. At this price point that I "fully" recommend this TV. 13 of 14 people found the following review helpful. Was not sure it would work, by Robert A. Bimson I have a number of Sony products including XBR 52 "HD in my living room. I have a covered terrace which is open contiguous on two sides and I wanted to have one big screen add. This TV is Sony, with the lowest prices on the market right now in the wide 46 ". I was afraid it would not be bright enough together for an "outdoor". There are a lot brighter. In fact, I'm mitigated the brightness for aesthetic reasons, and I am very satisfied with the outcome. I can swim in my pool (30 meters) and watch the baseball play San Francisco Giants. My grill is about 25 meters and I can sit here and watch TV without any problems. The TV is on boarded a Sanus VMSA Silver Flat Wall w / Tilt / Swivel / Arm on an outside wall under the roof, so I can tilt or rotate in order to get maximum relief of reflections, depending on time of day. The image is typical Sony - excellent - all the features work very well, and I used my stereo sound that stands out in this TV replaced a 24 "Sony CRT that has been on the wall 6 I like the XBR my best, but. 46 "is all I wanted to be. An exceptional value. Amazon's price and 30 days return policy is key to my purchase, if the TV would not have been bright enough outdoors. The delivery was on time and everything was in excellent condition when received. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Best TV at this price! 3D Technology ChecklistThis product is 3D-related. To help you get a great 3D experience, use the checklist below to ensure you have everything you need. 3D viewing requires:A DisplayFirst, you'll need a 3D-ready display--whether it's a 3D HDTV, 3D projector, or 3D computer monitor. These displays have more processing power than standard 2D models for displaying 3D images in rapid succession. A SourceYour display may be ready for 3D playback, but you'll still need a device to read 3D content. This can be a cable box with a subscription to a 3D channel, a 3D Blu-ray Disc player, or a PlayStation 3 system.3D Content3D content--the actual entertainment, in other words--will be played back using the source mentioned above, whether it's a 3D broadcast from your cable provider, a 3D Blu-ray Disc, or a 3D video game.3D GlassesFor now, the vast majority of 3D HDTVs require glasses for 3D viewing. Many use powered "active shutter" glasses, others polarized "passive" glasses. You'll need one pair per viewer, and they'll have to be compatible with your display, whether they're the same brand, or a pair of "universal" glasses designed to work across brands.HDMI CableTo connect your source (such as a 3D Blu-ray Disc player) to your display, you'll need a high-speed HDMI cable. Cables with this designation feature bandwidth speeds up to 10.2 Gbps (gigabits per second), for carrying the 3D signal without any loss of quality. If you want to get more information about 3D, shop our 3D products, watch videos, or interact with other customers, we invite you to visit 3D 101, our customer center about everything 3D. Best TV 2d decent or the worst solution for 120Hz 3DHDTV Jonathan M Osment 30/03/2011 UPDATE: Amazon has removed the label from 240Hz as revenue, but not the "what in the box." As this product is not properly advertised as 120Hz 240Hz, I re-adjust the contrast. WARNING: possible failure of this TV. NOTICE: As of 24/03/2011, I noticed through the Sony Style site they state the EX720 is now only 120Hz, 240Hz is not advertised. I hope it's a typo on the order of the Sony, but if there is a serious case of misleading advertising under way. I have been on the market specifically to buy a 240Hz HDTV, because the price is justified, and therefore can change the level of satisfaction of this review. Before buying this product, make sure you know that there may be a case of false information that takes place the refresh rate. Update: It is confirmed that this is NOT 240Hz HDTV as advertised and 'only 120Hz. The score was set purely marketing, it is false and reveals a slight improvement over previous models that cost far less. One of the main reasons to get an HDTV 240Hz for 3D is that you spot as 120Hz flicker back and forth. If the refresh rate of the TV itself is only 120 Hz, which means you only get 60Hz experience while viewing 3D images. 60Hz is what we are trying to escape. There is absolutely no excuse for misleading advertising, higher costs for features not present. If you try to get a 3D-TV, be sure that it is absolutely 240Hz, or are you just wasting your money. If you want a TV but do not plan to use 3D functionality, then this unit is ok, but there are cheaper and better alternatives in this case. *** Update - Old Review: Sony Bravia HDTV 40EX720 is a decent 3D. I was originally on the market for an HDTV to use that game as a computer monitor / screen and then Sony introduced its line in 2011, CES 2011, I knew I had to get one first thing I can say is that this TV is solid. I was very pleased with the quality of construction (a piece of cheap plastic on the back, but I have yet to find an LED LCD HDTV did not have that feeling). Unlike the previous series HDTVs EX, the notch on the bottom that looks gray in some images is a very dark black. That was really a disappointment for me as I liked the gray band at the bottom, as seen in some photos EX7xx. I love the menu system is a modified version of the menu system in 2010. The 2010 line of Bravia TVs made use of the Playstation 3 and PSP menu to the point where they were virtually identical. The EX720, and I imagine that all models of 2011, chose the menu for PS3/PSP design a more simplified version. It grows in you and in general I find it much more attractive and easier to navigate with the remote control is perhaps the best of this TV has going for it. It has some useful buttons that work better than one would expect. 3D button on the remote turns the TV on stereoscopic 3D, a push every time out. You can see something in 3D Bravia not emulate the 3D effect of 3D content. Other remote control buttons include a rapid change Netflix, online video, Qriocity and a start button is very handy. Internet video works like a charm too. I managed to watch YouTube videos directly from your TV, and browse music libraries online, although there was a (high speed cable) a little slow. Plug a USB drive with some short film work. TV will recognize the USB device and then you can go ahead and access what you want to see or hear from him. There are no built-in television show on video, but there is a music track and a few pictures on TV is not installed automatically dead pixels. The lighting is even across the entire screen. Great black levels. Semi-Glossy screen (a mixture of brilliant.
