Key Features Full HD 1080p Resolution: Experience Full HD 1080p picture quality, the highest at-home resolution, and take full advantage of HD sources like a Blu-ray Disc Player or PlayStation3 gaming console via the 16:9 wide screen panel (1920 x 1080). LightSensor Technology: Automatically increase or decrease the level of brightness of your TV's backlight based on a room's lighting conditions with the integrated LightSensor technology. Dim the lights to watch a movie and the sensor dims the backlight, which also helps reduce unnecessary power consumption. Ambient Sensor: Get a natural looking picture whether you are watching movies late at night or playing video games during the day with an Ambient Sensor that automatically adjusts the picture color based on a room's lighting. BRAVIA Engine 2: Enjoy sharp, vibrant, life-like images while optimizing color and contrast and significantly reducing noise with the BRAVIA Engine 2 fully digital processor. 6 HD Inputs: Get versatile HD connection options with 6 HD inputs, including 4 HDMI inputs to connect a Blu-ray Disc player, PlayStation3 gaming console or any other HDMI-capable equipment. Two HD component inputs provide added HD-capable connectivity, while a PC input (HD-15 pin) lets you use your HDTV as a computer monitor. 24p True Cinema: Movies consist of 24 images per second, and cannot be faithfully reproduced on conventional televisions, resulting in unnatural, jerky movements. But 24p True Cinema displays the 24 progressive images as they should be, in the same sequence as the original film source. Now, you can recreate the visual clarity of cinema-quality movies in the comfort of your own home. USB Input: Share your photos on the big screen or listen to your favorite music. Simply connect your digital camera, USB-enabled MP3 player, or USB storage device directly to your HDTV's USB input. BRAVIA Sync Compatible: Conveniently operate and control other BRAVIA Sync compatible devices--including BRAVIA HDTVs, Blu-ray Disc Players, surround sound systems, Handycam camcorders and Cyber-shot digital still cameras, all with one remote control. VESA-compatible hole spacing uses an industry-standard mounting-hole pattern that can be used with VESA-compliant mounting brackets, taking the guesswork out of selecting the proper hardware for hanging your TV on the wall. With standard-definition TVs, the rule used to be that viewers would feel comfortable watching a set from a distance of 3 to 6 times the screen size in inches. With HDTV, the resolution is so much better that you can sit closer to a larger TV without noticing the pixels. So with HDTVs, the rule tends to be you can sit anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the screen size (in inches) for the best experience. If you know the size of the room you have already, where you want to sit, and where your new HDTV should go once you get it, you can figure out the size HDTV you should get. And the wind blows it away in almost every aspect I think I paid about $ 550 for the Samsung over a year ago, so I jumped at the chance to upgrade to EX400 Professionals. The light sensor works fine - 4 HDMI inputs disconnect my friends - Bravia Sync feature works great with my Sony home theater system - PS3 games have never looked so good I played Killzone 2 right after I TV and my jaw was .!... open for about 10 minutes at a time. - It has only a 60 Hz refresh rate, but I did not see blurring when watching sports -. DVDs look pretty sharp, saw I have a cheap DVD up-converter -. It's a Sony, I'm sure some ppl have had bad experiences with Sony, but I'm just lucky to each his own I guess Cons: The remote is rubbish ...! It looks cheap and not very functional - gray on the front panel. I had a big problem with the image on-line everything I do in person. It does not seem so bad - but always throws out of the black perimeter continues. Strange call from Sony. - Calibration is frustrating. There are so many different picture settings, you probably struggle to find the ideal configuration. I used the DVD THX Optimizer (which is located on one of my Star Wars movies) and it helped a lot. (I posted on [...]) - If you use an antenna instead of cable / satellite, you will find that zapping is a bit 'slow. It's a little 'picky, but the channels take a little' more time to load on this set. - No adjustable? I knew that this group had not before I bought it - but it would be nice though. For about $ 600, you can have a 1080p 40 "LCD TVs Great Many -.. 27 of 28 people found this review helpful Very happy TV BAM excellent sharp image Easy to use .... No e-phile, but I do my homework and hesitated for a Sony from what I read to buy Sony lived on his laurels. But the TV seems bang for the buck (and my wife wanted a Sony). I do not miss or 120Hz LED. The image is blurry when watching action movies or sports to me or anyone else in my family (of course, everything we see Curling) (just kidding). The picture is bright, too. Easy to install. It has a default setting for the house (and not stored), which was fine by us. $ 599 for 40 "1080p. Gentle enough found. 18 out of 20 customers this review helpful. Just a fantastic TV From Justin T. Melanson took me three months to pay for it, he had the set apart for so long my local Sears. Originally I wanted to go with two other TVs before, until a man who works there, was known as Peter pointed me to this TV. As soon as I saw her, and so the picture quality compared to the Sharp Aquos and other TVs of the same size and specifications, I knew it was the TV for me most of the other TV looked washed out compared to this stuff, so it was not to deny. Anyway, I finally have the thing home, and finally put it up on a wall mounted, I got out of here for cheap, and it was a fantastic TV. Much, much more than my old standard-def TV, which was afterwards to a friend BTW improved. Picture quality is fantastic, the colors are rich and vibrant, no motion blur, no slowdown, no lag, none of the problems that seem obvious to most TVs with 60Hz specs plague. Even standard def cable looks great on this beast, and it's something pretty hot. I do not think you will be disappointed with this as a sports game on TV at all if you primarily use it for this. But the real star of the show gaming. Especially with HDMI cables, which is a necessity, fortunately, you can get for cheap nowadays crazy as another reviewer said, the games have never been better. As he, I sat there for at least 5 to 10 minutes of drooling.
